Upper Dublin Lutheran Church is committed to be a blessing to our community. The blessing happens when people find ways to care for others. We support active ministries that utilize the gifts we are given by God to serve others.

ONE HOUSE AT A TIME – (OHAAT)

This is a UDLC-based outreach whose mission is ‘to provide household furnishings to families lacking the basic necessities of life.” Since 1998, OHAAT has helped families earning less than $7,500 per year who are in need of furniture and have multiple children. |

“ Beds for Kids”

The program makes a profound difference for families, last year over 200 families were helped. OneHouse at a Time is always looking for volunteers from UDLC or the community to help make furniture deliveries, or pick up donated furniture from local residents! Many Saturday mornings, we deliver to the Philadelphia region. We have a lot of room in our storage shed at UDLC! CHOSEN 300-

UDLC serves dinners to the homeless in Philadelphia every second Saturday of the month by cooperating with Chosen 300 Ministries which is run by Brian Jenkins, of Zion Baptist Church in Ambler…(read more) You can help serve the food outdoors (in summer) near Spring Garden street, or indoors all winter! We need you to cook chicken dinners, brownies, etc, or assist in worship by signing up on the lobby poster any Sunday, or call the church office. For further information go to www.chosen300.org |

COMMUNITY CUPBOARD

This local outreach contributes staple household and food items regularly to the Ambler Community Cupboard and the Northeast Churches Community Cupboard at St. John’s Lutheran in Mayfair. Upper Dublin collects these staples on the first Sundays of each month in our lobby during worship. Donations are welcome at any time however! |

LOAVES AND FISHES

Home cooked frozen dinners available at UDLC to be delivered to others during times of special need. You can assist by offering to prepare these meals and placing them in the freezer designated in Fellowship Hall for Loaves and Fishes. |

PARISH HEALTH TEAM
|
Promotes the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of people within our congregation and friends of the congregation. Member RN’s give blood pressure tests once a month between Sunday worship services in the staff office. |
|
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
|
We participate occasionally in this national home repair project. |
