The Great Commission of Jesus calls us to ‘go make disciples of all nations…and teach them all that I have commanded you…” Upper Dublin Lutheran feels compelled to serve our international neighbors and learn from them how to be faithful followers of our Lord. We are transformed spiritually and enriched by our journeys to learn and serve in another culture. The revival of our faith in the USA, nowadays, often comes from walking alongside our brothers and sisters in third world settings, rather than going to ‘convert’ anyone! It’s likely to be ourselves…who are reminded how to depend on Christ alone, by our foreign neighbors! We are more likely the grateful students, than the ‘teachers’ in this sense.
Come explore and get involved, in our global missions projects! They are expanding each year in four major countries; Tanzania, Kenya, China and El Salvador!
Our global relief responses take many forms through our national church body, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America….the ELCA World Hunger Appeal and Stand with Africa are just two of the annual funds that steward our resources for famine and disaster relief and the fight against the AIDS epidemic. During the Christmas season, UDLC often hosts a Fair Trade Craft Shop to assist small businesses and farmers to grow and sustain their families, in poverty stricken countries around the globe. Support Our Soldiers

You can lift the spirits of our soldiers stationed overseas
Among the boxes for receiving items on Sunday Morning, are ones designated for care packages for our soldiers. There’s quite a surprising list of what we send, including stuff animals, magazines, candy, toiletries, and other items. The soldiers write us about how much they appreciate knowing that they are cared for back home.
