We work alongside trusted local community partners to serve neighbors and respond to real needs. These partnerships allow us to volunteer, build relationships, and support meaningful work happening throughout our community. Explore our partners and discover ways to serve and get involved.

    Chosen 300

    Chosen 300 works to feed neighbors in need, providing thousands of meals monthly and mobilizing volunteers to serve with dignity and care. Their mission brings nourishment and compassion to people facing hunger in our region. We serve dinner at the Spring Garden Street location on the second Sunday of each month.

    Mattie N. Dixon Community Cupboard

    Mattie N. Dixon Community Cupboard offers essential groceries and support to local families experiencing food insecurity. Their work ensures that neighbors in need have access to nutritious food and community resources.

    Rummage Sale

    UDLC’s annual Rummage Sale, which happens on the last Saturday in February, brings the community together to fundraise for important local causes while giving new life to donated goods. Proceeds are shared with nonprofit partners to support their vital work throughout the year.

    Beds for Kids/OHAAT

    Beds for Kids and One House At A Time help ensure that children and families have safe, comfortable places to sleep. Through volunteer efforts and material support, they transform homes and promote stability for those in need.

    Family Promise

    Family Promise partners with communities to support families experiencing homelessness, helping them move from crisis to stability. Their programs offer shelter, guidance, and resources with dignity and hope. UDLC sponsors an apartment at Hope Gardens.

    We Care

    We Care is a community initiative focused on offering practical support and compassionate outreach to neighbors during challenging times. Their efforts embody care and connection throughout the local area.

    Feast of Justice

    We collect food and supplies for Feast of Justice, which provides food, essentials, and advocacy to those facing hardship, strengthening community well-being. Their work nourishes bodies and builds relationships rooted in justice and support.

    Tigris Foundation

    The Tigris Foundation is a small family foundation with a big heart for youth in our community. We have partnered on projects like our Booksmiles book drive and our Community Summit.
