Nurturing Our Children’s Faith through Story, Wonder, and Friendship

Join us in empowering children from birth through 5th grade to see themselves as part of God’s unfolding story through love, joy, and wonder. Our engaging programs, including Cradle Roll, Nursery, Children’s Church, and Music, offer opportunities for growth, development, and spiritual enrichment.

Nursery/Cradle Roll

Our Cradle Roll ministry supports families with children from birth to 3 years old by providing materials on child development, age-appropriate activities, and tips for creating a God-centered home.

The Nursery is available every Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for children from birth through Pre-K. Our qualified nursery workers offer a variety of fun and engaging activities, ensuring your little ones are cared for and supported.

Children’s Church

Children's Church welcomes kids from Pre-K through 5th grade from September to May during our 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services. After a joint start in the sanctuary, children enjoy their own time of worship led by our dedicated adult volunteers. Using the Godly Play curriculum, we center children’s spirituality through storytelling, wonder, and creative response.

Note: On holidays and special music Sundays, Children’s Church will not be held, allowing families to worship together and giving our volunteers a break.

Meeting Special Needs

UDLC is a welcoming and affirming place for all children! If your child is neurodiverse, has a disability, or needs learning support, please contact our Faith Formation Director, Deborah Jodrey. We will work together to create a safe, loving, and inclusive environment tailored to your child’s needs. Our Godly Play curriculum adapts to many learning styles.
