A Vibrant Youth Community

At our church we are more than just a youth ministry – we’re a vibrant community where young people from 6th to 12th grade can grow in faith, develop leadership skills, and make a real impact. Whether through regular gatherings, youth leadership opportunities, Confirmation classes, or worship participation, UDLC is a place where youth are celebrated, supported, and empowered to thrive. We provide a safe, welcoming environment where every young person is recognized as a beloved child of God.

Sunday AM Gatherings

Every first Sunday of the month, our youth gather from 9:30-10:30am in the youth room to discuss questions about the bible, life, and faith. Donuts are always provided!

Youth Leadership Team

The UDLC Youth Leadership Team comprises youth from 7th to 12th grade who support our adult volunteers and Director in the vision, direction, and planning of events and activities throughout the year. Our team meets once a month and commits to the team for the academic year. Meet our 2025-2026 team! Confirmation

Embark on a two-year journey of faith designed for 7th/8th graders. Through engaging lessons on core Christian beliefs and thought-provoking discussions on contemporary faith issues, you’ll deepen your faith connection. From a fall kick-off orientation to a weekend retreat, this program is as memorable as it is meaningful. After two years, you’ll have the chance to affirm your faith on Confirmation Sunday in the spring.

Worship Leadership

Your voice matters at UDLC! Get involved in our worship services by serving as an assisting minister, lector, usher, communion assistant, or Children's Church volunteer (high schoolers only). Reach out to our Faith Formation Director, Deborah Jodrey to find your perfect fit and make a meaningful contribution to our Sunday worship.

Youth Gatherings

Every month, our youth gather together for fun and fellowship! This past year, our gatherings included bowling, mini golf, games, and a movie at the church, our annual youth retreat to Bear Creek Camp, and our annual Christmas Party! Check out our seasonal calendar to see what’s happening next!

Service Projects

Service is a huge part of our youth gatherings, and we work to build regular opportunities for youth and their families to serve the church and their communities. This past year, our youth helped stuff Easter Eggs for our annual Easter Egg Hunt and helped in our UDLC community garden.
